STrEAMlining EFT Matching

چکیده

This paper presents STrEAM (SuperTrace Evaluation Automated for Matching), a Mathematica package that calculates all functional supertraces which arise when matching generic UV model onto relativistic Effective Field Theory (EFT) at one loop and to arbitrary order in the heavy mass expansion. implements covariant derivative expansion automate most tedious step of streamlined prescription presented Ref. [1]. The code an example notebook are available this link.

Complex mass renormalization in EFT

We consider an effective field theory of unstable particles (resonances) using the complex-mass renormalization. As an application we calculate the masses and the widths of the ρ meson and the Roper resonance.

eft-corner Unification-base

In this paper, we present an efficient algorithm for parsing natural language using unification grammars. The algorithm is an extension of left-corner parsing, a bottom-up algorithm which utilizes top-down expectations. The extension exploits unification grammar’s uniform representation of syntactic, semantic, and domain knowledge, by incorporating all types of grammatical knowledge into parser...

Lymphoma: streamlining follow ups

DOI: 10.5581/1516-8484.20130049 The follow up of patients with non-Hodgkin Lymphomas (NHL) is based on several factors including the intention of the treatment and the context in which it is carried out, whether in clinical trials or clinical practice. For patients out of clinical trials there seems to be no evidence for the routine use of imaging scans or laboratory tests in the follow up afte...

Streamlining Feature-Oriented Designs

Software development for embedded systems gains momentum but faces many challenges. Especially the constraints of deeply embedded systems, i.e., extreme resource and performance constraints, seem to prohibit the successful application of modern and approved programming and modularization techniques. In this paper we indicate that this objection is not necessarily justified. We propose to use re...
